Under the guidance of the Anhui Society of Automotive Engineers and its Subcommittee for Students and Young Professionals, our team has initiated the establishment of the "Zhixing" Automotive Micro-Lecture Series (hereinafter referred to as the "Micro-Lecture"). This initiative aims to explore a path for cultivating interdisciplinary talents with both automotive expertise and "X" complementary skills, tailored to meet the demands of the automotive industry in the new era. It seeks to strengthen foundational knowledge in vehicle engineering and empower students and young professionals to contribute more effectively to academic research and practical innovation in the automotive field.
The guest speakers of the Micro-Lecture are outstanding professionals from the automotive industry, including members of universities affiliated with the Subcommittee for Students and Young Professionals, as well as representatives from renowned companies such as NIO, Baolong, JAC, Volkswagen, Chery, and Fuswe. The lecture topics cover cutting-edge areas including automotive system dynamics and control, modern automotive design theory and methods, automotive powertrain systems and energy management, vehicle intelligence and autonomous driving, vehicle-infrastructure cooperation and smart transportation, and advanced automotive manufacturing processes.
To date, the Micro-Lecture has held 8 sessions, each featuring 2 lectures. A total of 8 industry experts, 7 university faculty members, and 1 senior Ph.D. candidate have delivered presentations both online and offline. The offline events have attracted over 300 participants, covering seven universities in Anhui Province that offer vehicle engineering programs, including Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University of Science and Technology, Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei University, Anhui University of Technology, Anhui Engineering University, and Anhui Science and Technology University. The online broadcasts have garnered more than 3,000 views.
